We have secured a block of rooms at the Hyatt Centric in Downtown Portland for your convenience. Check the LODGING page for details!
Is there a dress code?
The dress code is formal attire.
As the name suggests, it allows more flexibility than a black-tie dress code. Men can wear tuxedos or formal dark suits, and women can wear anything from evening gowns to dressy cocktail attire.
We’re looking forward to seeing all of our guests dressed up for our big day!
Will the wedding take place indoors or outside?
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, followed by an indoor reception (dinner and dancing).
Will there be transportation to/from the wedding?
We encourage you to use Uber or Lyft to get to our event. A shuttle will be provided to return guests to the hotel (Hyatt Centric), beginning at 9pm with the last shuttle leaving at 10:45pm.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to park and find your seat.
Can I bring a guest?
Your invitation and RSVP will indicate invited guests and/or an optional +1. We appreciate your understanding.
Are kids welcome?
We have decided to keep our wedding ceremony, dinner, and reception an adult-only event with the exception of our family. Your invitation includes your invited party. We love your little ones, but we encourage you to use the evening as a date night!
Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
There is ample parking at the venue, with complimentary valet service provided by the grooms. We’ve already taken care of gratuity as well, so just be sure to let the valet staff know you’re our guests! We also recommend ride-share services, namely Lyft and Uber. Cars cannot be left overnight at Amaterra, so please plan accordingly.
